First and foremost: the contents of this blog are meant to be humorous, so before you get your politically correct, anti-bacterial, environmentally friendly underpants in a bunch remember: THIS IS ALL IN FUN!
I guess I should start off by saying hello - I'm Cole, welcome to my blog! I am a recent bachelor of physics and with the economy being what it is, I have had to move back home. Since I am in what John Mayer calls a quarter-life crisis (one of my friends has a nice positive outlook on it here). I figured I'd create a blog to talk about whatever the Hell I feel like. As I have already mentioned, I have a BS in physics and a minor in mathematics but I am currently doing NOTHING with it. Because I didn't take my first undergrad seriously, I am going back to prove what a badass I really am - I will try to take all of the classes chemists need to take to get a 4 year degree, but I will be doing it in one year - I am if nothing else ambitious. After looking at what's out there for me as far as work goes (other than the IT job I currently have), I have come to realize that I really am a physicist and am going to try my hand at getting a master's (to prove that I can handle the coursework) then I want my damned PhD.
