I've been seeing a few posts from friends and acquaintances, that they don't see what the big deal about the death of Osama Bin Laden is. I have seen several posts by folks of my generation that I would classify as nothing less than disgusting. Several posts in sardonic tone that the recession and sleazy politics must have died with Bin Laden, that mocking tone is right; this does not change our day to day lives here in the states. UNLESS of course, you have been affected in someway by the wars (regardless of whether you were for or against them) or the events that resulted in the declaration of war. To those who don't see what the big deal is, have clearly never gone cold at every report that a group of US soldiers were killed in either Iraq or Afghanistan, they have never stayed awake a night praying (or to a God you don't even believe in) for the protection of those they love, it is closure for those who lost loved ones on September 11th, or have received a folded American flag so that Americans never have to endure every agonizing breath watching something like September 11th unfold before their eyes.
